The Texas Instruments LM62CIM3/NOPB is a precision integrated-circuit temperature sensor. It operates within a 0°C to +90°C temperature range and is suitable for applications requiring a single +3.0V supply.
The sensor's output voltage is linearly proportional to Celsius temperature with a scale factor of +15.6 mV/°C and includes a DC offset of +480 mV. This offset allows for temperature readings down to 0°C without requiring a negative supply. The nominal output voltage ranges from +480 mV to +1884 mV over the specified temperature range.
Accuracy is rated at ±3°C at 25°C and ±4°C over the full 0°C to 90°C range. The LM62CIM3/NOPB features a shutdown mode and has a low quiescent current of less than 130 μA, limiting self-heating to approximately 0.2°C in still air.
This device is supplied in a SOT-23-3 surface mount package. Its linear output, offset, and factory calibration simplify external circuitry in single-supply environments.
