The IP4220CZ6F is a 4-channel steering (rail-to-rail) TVS diode designed by Nexperia USA Inc. for protecting sensitive I/O lines from electrostatic discharge (ESD). It features a maximum reverse standoff voltage of 5.5 V and provides ESD protection up to ±8 kV contact discharge per IEC 61000-4-2 level 4. Each channel has an ultra-low input capacitance of 1 pF at 1 MHz, making it suitable for high-speed data lines such as USB 2.0, Ethernet, and DVI.
The device integrates four pairs of rail-to-rail ESD protection diodes plus a Zener diode, enabling supply-voltage-independent clamping. It is housed in a small 6-lead SC-74 (SOT-457) surface-mount package (6-TSOP supplier package) and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The IP4220CZ6F is RoHS3 compliant, REACH unaffected, and halogen/antimony free (Dark Green compliant).
