The Artesyn HPS3000-9-001 is a bulk front-end AC/DC power supply designed for distributed power architectures. It accepts a universal input of 90 to 264 VAC and delivers a main output of 48V at up to 62A (3000W), along with a 5V standby output at 3A. The unit achieves 89% efficiency at full load (200 VAC). It features hot-swappable operation, I²C/PMBus interface for digital control, and active power factor correction (PFC) with a typical power factor of 0.97. The power supply is housed in a compact 1U x 3U rack-mount enclosure (327.7 x 106.7 x 39.9 mm) and uses a card-edge input/output connection. Up to four units can be paralleled to deliver 12 kW in a standard 19-inch rack shelf. Protection features include overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuit, and overtemperature protection.
