The HD66100F from HIT is a segment driver IC featuring 80 LCD drive circuits. This improved version of the HD44100H reduces the number of LSIs required for LCD modules, thereby lowering costs.
Key features include an 80-bit bidirectional shift register and an 80-bit latch circuit for serial-to-parallel conversion. The internal logic circuit operates at +5V ±10%, while the LCD drive circuit supports voltages from 3.0V to 6.0V. This CMOS process device is suitable for various multiplexing duties up to 1/16.
The HD66100F is available in a 100-pin plastic QFP package. Its interface is compatible with the HD44100H and can be connected with other Hitachi LCD controllers like the HD43160AH, HD61830, HD61830B, LCD-II (HD44780), and LCD-III (HD44790).
