The FGD2736G3-F085 is an EcoSPARK3 N-Channel Ignition IGBT from ON Semiconductor, designed for automotive ignition coil driver applications. It features a collector-emitter voltage rating of 360V and a continuous collector current of 21A, with a power dissipation of 150W. The gate charge is 18nC, and the device includes a logic-level input for direct interface with microcontrollers.
Electrical characteristics include a collector-emitter saturation voltage of 1.65V maximum at Vge=4.5V and Ic=10A. The reverse recovery time is 7µs, and switching delay times are 4µs turn-on and 15µs turn-off. The device can withstand 270mJ of short-circuit energy, making it suitable for high-energy ignition systems.
The IGBT is housed in a surface-mount TO-252AA package (DPak), with an operating junction temperature range of -40°C to 175°C. It is RoHS3 compliant (unverified) and has an MSL of 1 (unlimited).
