The EHR-8 is a rectangular connector housing from JST Manufacturing's EH series. It is a receptacle (female) housing with 8 positions arranged in a single row at a 2.50mm pitch. The housing is designed for crimp termination and accepts female socket contacts (sold separately). The mounting type is free hanging (in-line), making it suitable for wire-to-board or wire-to-wire connections in compact electronic devices.
Electrical ratings: 1A per circuit (AC/DC) and 16V (AC/DC). Contact resistance is 10mΩ initial, 15mΩ max after environmental tests. Insulation resistance is 500MΩ min, and the housing withstands 300V AC for one minute. Operating temperature range is -25°C to 85°C.
The housing accepts wire sizes from 28 AWG to 22 AWG with insulation outer diameter between 0.6mm and 1.2mm. The applicable board thickness for mating headers is 1.0mm to 1.7mm. The housing is RoHS3 compliant.
