The DT1042-04TS-7 is a 4-channel low capacitance TVS diode array designed by Diodes Incorporated to protect sensitive electronic circuits from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and other transient voltage events. It is housed in a compact TSOT-26 surface-mount package and is fully RoHS compliant and lead-free.
Key electrical specifications include a minimum breakdown voltage of 6.2V, a typical clamping voltage of 9V at 10A (100ns TLP) and 7.7V at 6A (8/20µs TLP), and a peak pulse current rating of 6A (8/20µs). The device offers IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection of ±16kV contact and +27kV/-19kV air discharge, as well as IEC 61000-4-4 EFT protection at Level 4. The typical dynamic resistance is 0.25Ω.
With a typical per-channel capacitance of only 0.65pF, this TVS array is well-suited for high-speed data interfaces such as USB 2.0, IEEE1394, HDMI, and SIM ports. The device operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 85°C and is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 3000 units per reel.
