This device offers 12-bit bidirectional current measurement with options for internal or external sense resistors. The internal configuration provides 0.625mA LSB and ±1.9A dynamic range, while the external configuration offers 15.625mV LSB and ±64mV dynamic range. It also features voltage measurement with 4.88mV resolution and temperature measurement with 0.125°C resolution using an integrated sensor.

 

Communication is handled via a Dallas 1-Wire® interface with a unique 64-bit device address. The DS2761AE+025/T&R includes system power management and control features, 32 bytes of lockable EEPROM, and 16 bytes of general-purpose SRAM. It operates with low power consumption, featuring active current of 60µA typical and sleep current of 1µA typical.

 

The IC is supplied in a 16-TSSOP package suitable for surface mounting. It is designed for applications requiring accurate battery monitoring and safety management in portable electronics and other Li+ battery-powered devices.
