The Hirose DF1B-10S-2.5R is a 10-position, single row, 2.50mm pitch female receptacle housing from the DF1B series. Designed for discrete wire connection, this housing accepts crimp or IDC contacts and supports wire gauges from 20 AWG to 30 AWG. The housing is made of polyamide insulator material with a UL94V-0 flammability rating and is white in color.
Electrical ratings include a rated current of 3A per pin when using 20-22 AWG wire, 1A per pin for 24-28 AWG, and 0.5A per pin for 30 AWG. The rated voltage is 250V AC/DC (series rating) and 30V AC/DC (UL/CSA rating). Insulation resistance is 1000MΩ minimum at 500V DC, and withstanding voltage is 650V AC for 1 minute without flashover or breakdown. Contact resistance is 30mΩ maximum at 100mA.
Mechanical specifications include a single insertion/extraction force of 0.44N minimum and 4.4N maximum. Mating durability is 30 cycles for tin plating and 50 cycles for gold plating.
