The DF11-18DEP-2C is a 18-position, dual-row plug housing from Hirose Electric's DF11 series of 2.00mm pitch connectors. Designed for space-saving board layouts, the double-row configuration packs more signals into a 5mm width. It is commonly used in business equipment such as copiers, printers, and other office automation devices.
Electrical ratings vary by wire gauge: 2A for AWG #22-#26, 1A for AWG #28, and 0.5A for AWG #30. The voltage rating for crimp termination is 250V AC. Insulation resistance is a minimum of 1000MΩ at 500V DC, and contact resistance is a maximum of 30mΩ at 100mA. The housing withstands 650V AC for 1 minute without flashover.
Mechanically, the housing features a panel mount, snap-in locking mechanism. It accepts crimp contacts and is compatible with wire sizes from AWG 22 to 30. The operating temperature range is -30°C to 85°C, and the housing is colored black.
The DF11-18DEP-2C is RoHS3 compliant, REACH unaffected, and has an MSL of 1 (unlimited). It also carries UL (E52653) and CSA (LR95109) safety standard approvals. Note: This is a housing only; mating contacts must be ordered separately.
