The DDMAM50S is a D-Sub receptacle connector from Cinch, part of the D*MA series. It features 50 female socket contacts arranged in 3 rows with a shell size of 5 (DD, D).
Key electrical specifications include a maximum current rating of 7.5 A, a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VAC at sea level, and a maximum contact resistance of 10 mOhm. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +150°C, making it suitable for harsh environments.
The connector uses crimp termination for signal contacts, accepting wire gauges from 20 AWG to 28 AWG (standard) or 22 AWG to 28 AWG (high density). Contacts are made of copper alloy with a gold over nickel finish, ensuring reliable connections over 500 mating cycles.
Mounting is through-hole with a 3.05 mm mounting hole diameter. The insulator is black thermoplastic (PCT) with a UL 94V-0 flammability rating, and the steel shell has a tin finish. The connector also passes a 48-hour salt spray test.
