The DDMAM50P is a 50-position D-Sub connector plug from Cinch, part of the D*MA series. It features male pins (pin contacts) arranged in 3 rows with a shell size of 5 (DD, D). The connector uses crimp termination for wire sizes AWG 20-28, offering reliable field-installable connections.
Electrically, each contact is rated for a maximum current of 7.5 A with a contact resistance of 10 mΩ maximum. The connector withstands 1000 VAC dielectric strength at sea level. It is designed for an operating temperature range of -55°C to +150°C, and passes a 48-hour salt spray test for corrosion resistance.
The shell is made of steel with a tin finish, while the insulator is black thermoplastic (PCT, UL 94V-0). Contacts are copper alloy with gold over nickel plating (Performance Class 2). The connector is rated for 500 mating cycles. Mounting is through-hole with hardware (0.120 inch through hole).
