The Cypress Semiconductor CY2308ZXI-1HT is a 3.3V Zero Delay Buffer that utilizes an on-chip Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) to distribute high-speed clocks in demanding applications such as PCs, workstations, datacom, and telecom systems.

This buffer offers zero input-to-output propagation delay, adjustable via capacitive load on the FBK input. It provides multiple low-skew outputs, with input-to-output skew less than 250 ps and output-to-output skew less than 200 ps. The device operates within a frequency range of 10 MHz to 133 MHz, featuring typical cycle-to-cycle jitter of 75 ps at 66 MHz with a 15 pF load.

The CY2308ZXI-1HT is available in space-saving 16-pin SOIC and 16-pin TSSOP packages, suitable for surface mount applications. It supports industrial temperature ranges and features two banks of four outputs, which can be three-stated using select inputs. The device also includes a power-down mode that reduces current draw to less than 25 µA when no rising edges are detected on the REF input.

Multiple CY2308 devices can synchronize to the same input clock, with skew between devices typically less than 700 ps. The part is versatile, with various configurations available to achieve different output frequencies relative to the input reference clock.
