The ams OSRAM CMV2000-3E12M1PP is a pipelined global shutter CMOS image sensor designed for high-performance imaging applications. It features a resolution of 2048 x 1088 pixels, capable of HD format, and supports pipelining for simultaneous exposure and readout.
The sensor boasts a state-of-the-art pixel architecture with true correlated double sampling (CDS) to significantly reduce fixed pattern noise and dark noise. It integrates 16 LVDS channels, each operating at 480 Mbps, enabling a maximum frame rate of 340 fps at full resolution with 10-bit per pixel output. A 12-bit per pixel mode is also available at a reduced frame rate.
Driving and readout are managed via a serial peripheral interface (SPI), with an internal timing generator handling exposure and readout control. External exposure triggering is supported. The sensor utilizes a CMOS pixel architecture and offers noise reduction through correlated double sampling.
This image sensor is suitable for various applications requiring high sensitivity and fast frame rates, such as machine vision and industrial automation. Its design facilitates efficient data processing and image acquisition.
