The ams OSRAM CMV2000-3E5M1PP is a pipelined global shutter CMOS image sensor designed for high-performance imaging applications. It boasts a resolution of 2048 x 1088 pixels, capable of HD format, and supports pipelining for simultaneous exposure and readout.
Key electrical specifications include 16 LVDS channels operating at 480 Mbps, enabling a maximum frame rate of 340 fps at full resolution with 10-bit pixel depth. A 12-bit pixel mode is also available at a reduced frame rate. The sensor is programmed via a serial peripheral interface (SPI) and integrates an internal timing generator for exposure and readout control, with external triggering also supported.
This CMOS image sensor utilizes a state-of-the-art pixel architecture with true correlated double sampling (CDS) to significantly reduce fixed pattern noise and dark noise. It is available in µPGA, LGA, and LCC package types, suitable for various mounting requirements in industrial and machine vision systems.
