The Infineon CDM10V is a fully integrated 0-10V dimming interface IC, packaged in a space-saving SOT-23-6. This device is designed to simplify 0-10V dimming circuits for LED drivers and various industrial and commercial lighting applications.
Key features include a wide input Vcc range of 11 to 25V and a programmable PWM output with an amplitude of 5 mA. Users can configure the minimum duty cycle (1%, 2%, 5%, or 10%), PWM output frequency (200Hz, 500Hz, 1kHz, or 2kHz), and dimmer/resistor bias current (50μA, 100μA, 200μA, or 500μA). The dim-to-off feature can also be enabled or disabled.
This IC replaces multiple external components, significantly reducing Bill of Materials (BOM) and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) space. Embedded digital signal processing ensures minimal variation between devices, providing consistent performance. The transparent PWM mode is available when dim-to-off is enabled.
Applications include LED drivers requiring 0-10V dimming, luminaires, troffers, downlights, sconces, undercabinet lighting, office lighting, and signage. It is also suitable for Dali applications.
