The C8051F312-GQR is an 8-bit microcontroller from Silicon Labs based on the high-speed pipelined 8051 core, delivering up to 25 MIPS throughput with a 25 MHz clock. It integrates 8KB of in-system programmable Flash memory (in 512-byte sectors) and 1280 bytes of internal RAM (1024 + 256).
Analog peripherals include a 10-bit ADC with up to 200 ksps sampling rate and 21 external single-ended or differential inputs, a built-in temperature sensor, and comparators with programmable hysteresis. Digital peripherals comprise 29 general-purpose I/O lines (5V tolerant), SMBus, SPI, and UART serial interfaces, a 16-bit programmable counter array (PCA) with five capture/compare modules, and a watchdog timer.
The device features an internal oscillator at 24.5 MHz with ±2% accuracy, supporting crystal-less UART operation. Power consumption is optimized: 5 mA typical at 25 MHz, 11 µA at 32 kHz, and 0.1 µA in stop mode. Operating voltage range is 2.7V to 3.6V, and temperature range is -40°C to +85°C. The C8051F312-GQR is available in a 32-pin LQFP (7x7mm) package for surface mount assembly.
