The C8051F023-GQR is an 8-bit microcontroller from Silicon Labs based on the high-speed 8051 core. It operates at up to 25 MHz with a pipelined instruction architecture that executes 70% of instructions in 1 or 2 system clocks, achieving up to 25 MIPS throughput.
Memory includes 64KB of in-system programmable Flash memory organized in 512-byte sectors, 4.25KB of internal data RAM (4KB + 256 bytes), and an external 64KB data memory interface. The device features 32 I/O lines, with connectivity including EBI/EMI, SMBus (I2C compatible), SPI, and two UART serial ports. Peripherals include brown-out detect/reset, POR, PWM, temperature sensor, and watchdog timer.
On-chip analog peripherals include a 10-bit SAR ADC with up to 100 ksps throughput and 8 external inputs, an 8-bit ADC with 500 ksps, two 12-bit DACs, two analog comparators, and a voltage reference. The internal oscillator is programmable from 2 to 16 MHz, and an external clock source can also be used.
The device is housed in a 64-TQFP (10x10 mm) surface-mount package and operates over a -40°C to 85°C temperature range with a supply voltage of 2.7V to 3.6V. On-chip JTAG debug and boundary scan support full-speed non-intrusive debugging.
