The C2D10120A is a 1.2 kV Silicon Carbide (SiC) Schottky rectifier from Wolfspeed. It offers zero reverse recovery current and zero forward recovery voltage, enabling high-frequency operation with minimal switching losses. The diode is rated for a continuous forward current of 31 A at 25°C case temperature, derating to 14.5 A at 135°C and 10 A at 152°C. Maximum forward voltage is 1.8 V at 10 A and 25°C junction temperature. The device features a positive temperature coefficient on forward voltage, facilitating parallel operation without thermal runaway. Typical applications include switch mode power supplies, power factor correction circuits, and motor drives. The diode is housed in a through-hole TO-220-2 package with a mounting torque of 1 Nm. Operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 175°C.
