The BZX585-C13,115 is a general-purpose Zener diode from Nexperia's BZX585 series, designed for voltage regulation applications. It has a nominal Zener voltage of 13V with ±5% tolerance, a maximum power dissipation of 300mW, and a non-repetitive peak reverse power dissipation of 40W. The device features a low differential resistance with a maximum impedance of 10Ω. Forward voltage is 1.1V maximum at 100mA, and reverse leakage current is 100µA maximum at 8V.
It is packaged in the ultra-small SOD523 (SC-79) surface mount package, making it suitable for space-constrained designs. The operating temperature range is -65°C to 150°C, and it supports surface mount mounting with MSL 1 (unlimited) moisture sensitivity level. The diode is RoHS3 compliant and REACH unaffected, though these compliance statuses are unverified.
Typical applications include general regulation functions in low-power circuits such as portable electronics, power management, and voltage reference designs.
