The Vishay BZG03C56-M3-08 is a 56V Zener diode from the BZG03C-M series, designed for voltage stabilization in surface mount applications. It features a nominal Zener voltage of 56V with a tolerance of ±7.14%, and a maximum power dissipation of 1.25W when mounted on standard epoxy-glass PCB with thermal resistance of 100 K/W. The device can handle non-repetitive peak surge power up to 600W for 100 μs square pulses.
The diode offers a maximum dynamic impedance of 60 Ω and a low leakage current of 1 μA at 43V. Forward voltage is 1.2V maximum at 500 mA. Operating junction temperature range is -65°C to +150°C, with storage temperature same range.
Packaged in a DO-214AC (SMA) surface mount package, the device weighs 64 mg and is RoHS3 compliant and halogen-free. It is suitable for wave and reflow soldering with MSL level 1 and peak temperature 260°C. The BZG03C56-M3-08 is a commercial grade part, not AEC-Q101 qualified.
