The Samtec BCS-132-L-S-PE is a 32 position single row pass-through receptacle from the BCS series. It features a rugged and reliable design suitable for top- and bottom-entry board-to-board applications. The connector utilizes the Tiger Claw dual-wipe contact system for secure connections.
The receptacle is configured with 32 positions loaded, all positions populated, on a 2.54mm (0.100 inch) pitch. Contacts are female sockets made of phosphor bronze with 10 microinch gold plating on the mating area and matte tin on the tail. The insulator is black liquid crystal polymer with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating.
Electrical ratings include 4.6A per contact when mated with TSW headers and 5.0A per contact when mated with TSM headers (2 positions powered). Voltage rating is 495VAC when mated with TSM. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C.
The component is through-hole mounted with solder termination and packaged in tubes with 6 pieces per tube. It is lead-free solderable per the datasheet.
