The BCS-117-L-D-PE-BE is a 34-position pass-through receptacle socket strip from Samtec's BCS series. Designed for board-to-board applications, it features a 2.54mm (0.100") pitch and dual-row configuration with all positions loaded. The connector utilizes Samtec's Tiger Claw dual-wipe contact system for reliable connections in pass-through and top/bottom entry applications.
Contact finish is gold flash with 10µ" (0.25µm) gold on the contact area and matte tin on the tails. The insulator is black liquid crystal polymer rated UL94 V-0. Electrical ratings include 4.6A per contact when mated with TSW series headers (5.0A with TSM) and a voltage rating of 475VAC (per DB; datasheet indicates 495VAC for -PE mated with TSM). Operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C.
The connector is through-hole mounted and packaged in tubes of 13 pieces. It is listed as RoHS compliant and REACH unaffected, though these certifications are unverified. Mating headers include Samtec TSW, MTSW, HTSW, and TSM series. This part is suitable for prototyping and production where a reliable pass-through socket is required.
