The BCP56-16,115 is an NPN medium power transistor from Nexperia, part of the BCP56 series. It features a maximum collector-emitter voltage (VCEO) of 80V and a continuous collector current (IC) of 1A, with a peak current capability of 2A. The DC current gain (hFE) ranges from 100 to 250 at 150mA and 2V, ensuring consistent performance in amplification and switching applications. The transistor offers a low collector-emitter saturation voltage (VCEsat) of 500mV at 500mA, minimizing power loss. With a transition frequency (fT) of 180MHz, it is suitable for moderate-speed switching circuits.
Power dissipation depends on the PCB copper area: 0.65W for a standard footprint, up to 1.35W with a 6cm² collector pad.
