The BC857BM,315 is a PNP general purpose transistor manufactured by Nexperia USA Inc. It is part of the BC857M series and designed for general purpose small signal DC and low to medium frequency AC applications.
Key electrical characteristics include a maximum collector-emitter voltage of -45 V, maximum collector current of -100 mA DC and -200 mA peak. DC current gain (hFE) ranges from 220 to 475 at Ic=2 mA, Vce=5 V. The transition frequency is typically 100 MHz. Power dissipation is 250 mW under standard mounting conditions (SOT883 on FR4 with 60 μm copper) and up to 430 mW with a 1 cm² copper pad for the collector.
