The BAV99-QR is a high-speed switching diode from Nexperia USA Inc., encapsulated in a small SOT23 (TO-236AB) surface-mount package. It features two diodes in a series connection configuration. The device offers a maximum reverse voltage of 100V and a fast reverse recovery time of 4ns (typical) at IF=10mA, IR=10mA, RL=100Ω. Its low capacitance of ≤1.5pF makes it suitable for high-frequency switching applications. The diode has a low leakage current of 500nA maximum at 80V reverse voltage. With a typical forward voltage of 1.25V at 150mA forward current, it is efficient for general-purpose switching. The BAV99-QR is qualified according to AEC-Q101 and recommended for automotive applications. The device has a maximum total power dissipation of 250mW (single diode loaded, Tamb ≤25°C) and a thermal resistance of 500K/W junction-to-ambient. It is RoHS compliant and REACH unaffected.
