The BAV70W-7-F is a dual surface-mount switching diode array from Diodes Incorporated, configured as a common cathode pair. It is designed for general-purpose switching applications requiring fast switching speeds and low capacitance.
Key electrical characteristics include a maximum reverse voltage of 75V, a forward continuous current of 300mA, and a forward voltage of 1.25V at 150mA. The diode features a fast switching speed of 4ns and a low capacitance of 2.0pF, making it suitable for high-speed signal switching and protection circuits.
The device is housed in a compact SOT323 surface-mount package, which is lead-free, RoHS compliant, and halogen-free (Green). The package is rated MSL Level 1 and has a flammability rating of UL 94V-0. The terminations are matte tin over Alloy 42 leadframe, solderable per MIL-STD-202.
This diode array is ideal for use in applications such as logic switching, freewheeling, and clamping circuits. The automotive-grade variant BAV70WQ-7-F is also available for AEC-Q101 qualified applications.
