Encapsulated in a very small and flat lead SOD323F (SC-90) surface-mount plastic package, the BAT54J provides excellent coplanarity and improved thermal behavior. It is rated for a maximum reverse voltage of 30 V and a forward current of 200 mA. The diode can operate over a wide temperature range from -65°C to 150°C, with a maximum junction temperature of 150°C.

 

Thermal characteristics include a maximum power dissipation of 550 mW at 25°C ambient when mounted on an FR4 PCB with a 1 cm² cathode pad. The thermal resistance from junction to ambient is 230 K/W, and from junction to solder point is 55 K/W.
