The BAT54FILM is a Schottky barrier diode from STMicroelectronics, designed for low-voltage, high-speed switching applications. It has a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 30V and a continuous forward current rating of 300mA. The forward voltage drop is typically 240mV at 0.1mA, 320mV at 1mA, 400mV at 10mA, 500mV at 30mA, and 900mV at 100mA, all at 25°C. Reverse leakage current is limited to 1µA at 30V and 25°C, increasing to 100µA at 100°C. The diode offers a fast reverse recovery time of 5ns (typical) and a junction capacitance of 10pF at 1V and 1MHz. Power dissipation is 250mW at 25°C ambient temperature. The device is housed in a surface-mount SOT-23-3 package (also known as TO-236-3 or SC-59) and operates over a junction temperature range of -40°C to +150°C. Storage temperature range is -65°C to +150°C. Typical applications include low-voltage rectification, polarity protection, and high-speed switching circuits.
