The BAS86 is a planar Schottky barrier single diode from Nexperia, featuring an integrated guard ring for stress protection. It is encapsulated in a hermetically sealed glass SOD80C (LLDS; MiniMelf) surface-mount package with tin-plated metal discs at each end, suitable for automatic placement and immersion soldering.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum reverse voltage of 50V, average forward current of 200mA, and a low forward voltage of 900mV at 100mA and 25°C. The diode offers a fast reverse recovery time of 4ns and a junction capacitance of 8pF at 1V reverse bias and 1MHz. Operating junction temperature range extends to 125°C.
