The BAS516-QX from Nexperia USA Inc. is a high-speed switching diode designed for fast switching applications. It is encapsulated in a ultra small and flat lead SOD523 (SC-79) surface-mounted device plastic package. The diode offers a maximum reverse voltage of 100V and a forward current of 250mA at 25°C. With a reverse recovery time of only 4ns, it is suitable for high-speed switching circuits. The device also features low capacitance (typical 1pF) and low leakage current (0.5µA max at 80V), making it efficient for general-purpose switching. It is qualified according to AEC-Q101 and recommended for use in automotive applications. The operating temperature range is -65°C to 150°C, and the thermal resistance from junction to solder point is 120 K/W maximum.
