The BAS40-05T-7-F is a surface-mount Schottky barrier diode array from Diodes Incorporated. It features a 1 pair common cathode configuration with a maximum reverse voltage of 40V and a maximum forward current of 200mA. The device offers fast switching with a reverse recovery time of 5 ns and a low forward voltage drop of 1V at 40mA.
This diode array is housed in an ultra-small SOT-523 package with matte tin plated terminals and is rated for operation from -55°C to 125°C. It includes a PN junction guard ring for transient and ESD protection. The part is fully RoHS compliant, halogen and antimony free, and MSL Level 1 per J-STD-020.
Typical applications include high-speed switching, polarity protection, and DC-DC converter circuits where small footprint and fast switching are required. The common cathode configuration simplifies PCB layout for dual-diode applications.
