The ATTINY2313-20MU is a low-power, 8-bit AVR RISC-based microcontroller from Microchip Technology. It features 2KB of in-system self-programmable Flash memory, 128 bytes of SRAM, and 128 bytes of EEPROM. The device operates at a maximum clock frequency of 20 MHz, delivering up to 20 MIPS throughput.
Key peripherals include one 8-bit and one 16-bit timer/counter, four PWM channels, a full-duplex USART, a Universal Serial Interface (USI) for SPI communication, an on-chip analog comparator, and a programmable watchdog timer. The microcontroller also supports debugWIRE on-chip debugging and in-system programming via SPI. It has 18 programmable I/O lines.
The ATTINY2313-20MU is supplied in a 20-pin WFQFN exposed pad package (20-QFN-EP, 4x4mm) for surface mount assembly. It operates over a supply voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V and an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The device includes brown-out detection, power-on reset, and an internal calibrated oscillator.
Typical power consumption is 230 µA at 1 MHz, 1.8V in active mode, and less than 0.1 µA in power-down mode, making it suitable for battery-powered applications. The AVR core features 120 instructions, most of which execute in a single clock cycle, and 32 general-purpose registers.
