The ATSAMV71Q21B-AAB is a 32-bit microcontroller from Microchip Technology based on the ARM Cortex-M7 core. It operates at up to 300 MHz and provides 2 MB of Flash program memory and 384 KB of RAM. The device includes a wide range of connectivity options such as CANbus, Ethernet, I²C, SPI, UART/USART, and USB, making it suitable for complex embedded systems.
With 114 I/O pins and multiple data converters (24-channel 12-bit ADC and 2-channel 12-bit DAC), this MCU can interface with numerous sensors and actuators. Peripherals include DMA, PWM, watchdog timer, and brown-out detection. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 105°C, allowing use in industrial and automotive environments.
The microcontroller is supplied in a 144-LQFP package with a 20x20 mm footprint, surface mount for automated assembly. It requires a supply voltage of 3V to 3.6V. The internal oscillator eliminates the need for external clock components in many applications.
