The ATSAMDA1E16B-MBT is a 32-bit microcontroller based on the ARM Cortex-M0+ core, operating at up to 48 MHz. It integrates 64KB of Flash program memory and 8KB of SRAM, along with a rich set of peripherals including DMA, PWM, I2S, USB, and multiple serial interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART/USART). The device features 10-channel 12-bit ADC and 1-channel 10-bit DAC, 26 general-purpose I/Os, and supports brown-out detection, power-on reset, and watchdog timer.
The microcontroller operates from a supply voltage of 2.7V to 3.63V and is specified for an extended temperature range of -40°C to 105°C, making it suitable for industrial and automotive environments. It is offered in a 32-VFQFN exposed pad package (32-VQFN 5x5 mm) with surface mount wettable flank terminals, enabling automated optical inspection during assembly.
Typical applications include embedded control systems, IoT endpoints, sensor nodes, and portable devices requiring low-power operation and USB connectivity. The internal oscillator eliminates the need for external clock components in many designs.
