The ATSAMC21E18A-MUT is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0+ microcontroller from Microchip Technology, part of the SAM C21 series. It features 256KB of Flash memory and 32KB of SRAM, operating at a maximum frequency of 48MHz.
This MCU supports a wide supply voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V and includes 26 general-purpose I/O pins. Connectivity options include CANbus, I²C, LINbus, SPI, and UART/USART, making it suitable for a variety of embedded applications. On-chip peripherals include brown-out detect/reset, DMA, POR, and watchdog timer.
The device integrates multiple data converters: A/D converters with 10 channels at 12-bit resolution and one 16-bit channel, and a D/A converter with 1 channel at 10-bit resolution. It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and is available in a 32-VFQFN exposed pad package (32-VQFN 5x5mm).
The SAM C21 family is designed for general-purpose embedded control, particularly in automotive, industrial, and consumer applications requiring robust communication interfaces and analog integration. The internal oscillator simplifies design, and the surface-mount package is suitable for automated assembly.
