ATMEGA325P-20AU

The ATMEGA325P-20AU is a high-performance, low-power 8-bit AVR microcontroller based on the advanced RISC architecture. It features 130 instructions, most executed in a single clock cycle, delivering up to 20 MIPS throughput at 20 MHz. The device includes 32KB of in-system self-programmable flash memory, 2KB of internal SRAM, and 1KB of EEPROM with high endurance (10,000 flash / 100,000 EEPROM write/erase cycles) and data retention of 20 years at 85°C.

Peripheral features include two 8-bit timer/counters, one 16-bit timer/counter with capture and compare modes, four PWM channels, an 8-channel 10-bit ADC, a programmable USART, master/slave SPI, and a universal serial interface (USI). Additional on-chip resources include a programmable watchdog timer, an analog comparator, and brown-out detection. The microcontroller supports five sleep modes (idle, ADC noise reduction, power-save, power-down, and standby) for low-power operation.

The operating voltage range is 2.7V to 5.5V, with a speed grade of 0-20 MHz at 4.5-5.5V. The device is specified for the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It is offered in a 64-lead TQFP (14x14 mm) surface mount package. Typical active mode power consumption is 420 µA at 1 MHz and 1.8V, with power-down mode drawing only 40 nA at 1.8V.
