The Amphenol Sine Systems ATM04-2P is a 2-position rectangular connector housing designed for the ATM series. It is a receptacle type housing with male pin contacts and uses a latch holder for secure mating. The housing is free hanging (in-line) mount and terminates via crimp contacts.
This housing is rated for a current of 7.5 A per contact (contact size 20, wire range 16-22 AWG) and features a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1500 VAC with less than 2 mA leakage, and a minimum insulation resistance of 1000 MΩ at 25°C. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and is sealed to IP68 when mated (1 meter of water for 24 hours). The housing is molded in gray thermoplastic with a silicone rubber seal, and a contact retention wedge (AWM-2P) is required.
The ATM04-2P is intended for use with mating plug ATM06-2S* (where * denotes modifications and colors). It supports 100 mating cycles.
