The Microchip AT30TSE752A-SS8M-B is a digital temperature sensor designed for accurate temperature monitoring. It features an integrated temperature sensor, nonvolatile registers, and serial EEPROM.
The sensor communicates via a 2-wire I2C and SMBus compatible serial interface, supporting up to eight devices on the same bus. It operates within a wide supply voltage range of 1.7V to 5.5V and is compatible with 400kHz and 1MHz communication speeds.
Key features include a temperature measurement range of -55°C to +125°C with typical accuracy of ±0.5°C over the 0°C to +85°C range. The resolution is user-configurable from 9 to 12 bits. The device also includes features like One-Shot mode, programmable temperature limits, and an ALERT output pin for temperature alarms.
Available in an 8-lead SOIC package, the AT30TSE752A-SS8M-B is suitable for surface mount applications. It is designed for low power consumption, with typical active current of 75μA during measurements and 1μA in shutdown mode.
