The APA06G05 is a non-isolated point-of-load (PoL) DC-DC converter module from Artesyn Embedded Power. It delivers a regulated 2.5V output at up to 6A, providing 20W of output power. The module operates from an input voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V, making it suitable for 5V bus voltages. With a typical efficiency of 87%, it minimizes power loss in space-constrained applications.
The APA06G05 features line and load regulation of ±0.5%, output voltage tolerance of ±1.0%, and low ripple and noise of 50 mVp-p. Its switching frequency is 430 kHz typical. Protection features include overcurrent protection and short circuit protection with auto-recovery. The module also includes a remote on/off control function.
Housed in an 11-pin single in-line package (SIP) with through-hole mounting, the module measures 63.5mm x 8.4mm x 14.0mm (2.50" x 0.33" x 0.55") and weighs 7.5 grams maximum.
