The ADG408BR-REEL7 is a monolithic CMOS 8:1 analog multiplexer designed on Analog Devices' enhanced LC2MOS process. It switches one of eight inputs to a common output based on a 3-bit binary address. Key electrical characteristics include a maximum on resistance of 100 Ohms with channel-to-channel matching of 15 Ohms, low crosstalk of -85 dB at 100 kHz, charge injection of 20 pC, and off-state leakage current of 500 pA. The device operates from a dual ±15V supply and is specified over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
The multiplexer is housed in a surface-mount 16-SOIC package (0.154", 3.90mm width) and is supplied in Tape & Reel packaging. Its low power dissipation and fast switching make it suitable for audio and video routing, automatic test equipment, data acquisition systems, and battery-powered applications. The device features break-before-make switching action and an enable input for disabling all channels.
