The AD9548BCPZ-REEL7 is a quad/octal input network clock generator/synchronizer from Analog Devices Inc. It is designed for synchronization applications in Ethernet, SONET/SDH, and Stratum networks. The device accepts up to four differential or eight single-ended reference inputs with frequencies from 1 Hz to 750 MHz. It generates output clocks up to 450 MHz with selectable CMOS, LVDS, or LVPECL logic levels.
The digital PLL features a programmable loop bandwidth from 0.001 Hz to 100 kHz, enabling precise jitter cleanup and holdover performance. The device operates from a supply voltage of 1.71V to 3.465V and is specified over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. It is housed in a compact 88-lead LFCSP package (12x12 mm) for surface mount assembly.
Typical applications include network synchronization, reference clock jitter cleanup, GPS 1PPS synchronization, and Stratum 2/3E holdover. The AD9548BCPZ-REEL7 is supplied in tape and reel packaging for automated manufacturing.
