The AD9548BCPZ is a quad/octal input network clock generator/synchronizer designed for synchronization applications including SONET/SDH, Ethernet, and Stratum. It accepts up to four differential or eight single-ended reference inputs with frequencies from 1 Hz to 750 MHz. The device features a digital PLL with programmable loop bandwidth from 0.001 Hz to 100 kHz, enabling jitter cleanup and holdover operation.
Outputs are available as four differential (LVDS/LVPECL) or eight single-ended CMOS signals with frequencies up to 450 MHz. The 1:1 input-to-output ratio and differential inputs/outputs support high-speed clock distribution. The AD9548 operates from a supply voltage of 1.71V to 3.465V over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
The device is housed in an 88-lead LFCSP package (12x12 mm) with exposed pad for thermal management. It supports hitless reference switchover, phase build-out, and automatic holdover. It is suitable for network synchronization, base station controllers, and GPS timing applications.
The supply voltage range is 1.71V to 3.465V.
