The AD5754RBREZ is a complete, quad, 16-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) from Analog Devices. It operates from single supply voltages of +4.5V to +16.5V or dual supplies of ±4.5V to ±16.5V, with a separate digital supply of 2.7V to 5.5V. The device offers software programmable output ranges including +5V, +10V, +10.8V, ±5V, ±10V, and ±10.8V.
Key electrical specifications include an integral nonlinearity (INL) error of ±16 LSB maximum and differential nonlinearity (DNL) error of ±1 LSB maximum. The settling time is 10 µs typical. An integrated 2.5V reference with ±5 ppm/°C maximum drift is included, along with reference buffers. The DAC uses a string architecture and supports simultaneous updating via LDAC and asynchronous CLR to zero scale or midscale.
The AD5754RBREZ is housed in a 24-lead TSSOP package with an exposed pad (24-TSSOP-EP) and is surface mountable. It operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. Typical applications include industrial automation, closed-loop servo control, automotive test and measurement, and programmable logic controllers.
