The AD5314ARM-REEL7 is a quad 10-bit buffered voltage output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) from Analog Devices Inc. Part of the AD5304/AD5314/AD5324 family, it provides four independent DAC channels in a compact 10-lead MSOP package. Each channel features a rail-to-rail output buffer amplifier and operates from a single 2.5 V to 5.5 V supply, drawing only 500 µA typical supply current at 3 V.
The device uses a 3-wire SPI-compatible serial interface that also supports DSP, QSPI, and MICROWIRE protocols. It includes a double-buffered input logic with an LDAC function for simultaneous update of all outputs. The settling time is 9 µs typical. The output voltage range is 0 V to the reference voltage, and the DAC is guaranteed monotonic over all codes. Power-down current is 80 nA at 3 V, making it suitable for battery-powered applications.
The AD5314ARM-REEL7 is specified for the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. It is available in a surface-mount 10-MSOP (0.118" width) package. Typical applications include portable instruments, programmable voltage sources, digital gain and offset adjustment, and industrial process controls.
