The AAT4684ITP-T1 from Skyworks Solutions is an OVPSwitch™, part of their Application Specific Power MOSFET™ (ASPM™) product family. This P-channel MOSFET power switch provides precise over-voltage protection, safeguarding low-voltage systems from high-voltage faults up to +28V. When the input voltage exceeds the programmed threshold, the switch turns off to prevent damage to the output load circuits.
This device offers both fixed and adjustable over-voltage protection thresholds and includes an under-voltage lockout (UVLO) circuit that puts the device into a low-current sleep mode (< 1 μA).
