The Allegro A3517SUA is a sensitive, temperature-stable linear Hall-effect sensor IC with improved offset characteristics. It provides a voltage output proportional to the applied magnetic field, with a quiescent output voltage approximately 50% of the supply voltage.
Designed for harsh automotive and industrial environments, this sensor operates over extended temperatures from -40°C to +150°C. The A3517SUA features an output sensitivity of 5 mV/G. Its monolithic BiCMOS circuit integrates a Hall element, temperature-compensating circuitry, a high-gain amplifier, and a rail-to-rail output stage. A proprietary dynamic offset cancellation technique ensures stable quiescent output voltage and immunity to mechanical stress.
This device is no longer in production and should not be purchased for new design applications. Recommended substitutions are available for new designs and existing programs.
