The 74LVT244AD,118 from Nexperia is an 8-bit buffer/line driver with 3-state outputs, designed for 3.3V systems. It can be configured as two 4-bit buffers or one 8-bit buffer using two output enable pins (1OE and 2OE). A HIGH on any enable causes the corresponding outputs to enter a high-impedance OFF-state.
The device operates over a supply voltage range of 2.7V to 3.6V and provides high output drive capability of 64mA sink and 32mA source. Inputs are overvoltage tolerant up to 5.5V, allowing direct interface with TTL levels. Bus hold data inputs eliminate the need for external pull-up resistors on unused inputs. The device includes IOFF circuitry for partial power-down operation and power-up 3-state to prevent bus contention.
ESD protection exceeds 2000V HBM and 1000V CDM, with latch-up performance above 500mA. It is specified for the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The part is available in a surface-mount 20-SOIC package (7.50mm width, SOT163-1 variant). This buffer/line driver is suitable for bus-oriented applications requiring high drive current and 3-state control, such as memory address drivers and data line buffering.
