The 74LVC373A is an octal D-type transparent latch featuring 3-state outputs, controlled by latch enable (LE) and output enable (OE) inputs. When LE is HIGH, data at the inputs enters the latches, making them transparent. When LE is LOW, the latches store the input information.
This device supports a wide supply voltage range from 1.2 V to 3.6 V, allowing direct interface with TTL levels and use in mixed 3.3 V and 5 V environments due to its 5.5 V tolerant inputs. Schmitt-trigger action at all inputs enhances tolerance to slower input rise and fall times.
