The 74LVC245A is an 8-bit transceiver with 3-state outputs. It features an output enable (OE) and send/receive (DIR) for direction control. A HIGH on OE causes the outputs to assume a high-impedance OFF-state. Inputs can be driven from either 3.3V or 5V devices, allowing use as translators in mixed 3.3V and 5V environments. Schmitt-trigger action at all inputs makes the circuit tolerant of slower input rise and fall times. This device is fully specified for partial power down applications using IOFF. The IOFF circuitry disables the output, preventing backflow current when powered down.
It supports a wide supply voltage range from 1.2V to 3.6V, with CMOS low-power consumption and direct interface with TTL levels. Overvoltage tolerant inputs up to 5.5V. ESD protection: HBM 2000V, CDM 1000V. Specified from -40°C to +125°C. The DHVQFN20 package (SOT764-1) is a surface-mount, no-leads package with body dimensions 2.5x4.5x0.85mm.
The supply voltage range is 1.2V to 3.6V.
The operating temperature range is -40°C to +125°C.
It comes in a 20-pin DHVQFN (SOT764-1) package.
It is a transceiver, non-inverting.
It handles 8 bits per element.
The outputs are 3-state.
HBM: 2000V minimum, CDM: 1000V minimum.
